9:01 (Dow Jones) Over the past 100 years, the average bear market has lasted 18.2 months and declined an average of 34.1%, says Jack Schannep, of TheDowTheory.com.  The current bear has been around for 19.1 months (20.2 months for the DJIA and 17.9 months for the S&P 500) and the average decline for (the) two is 33.3% (29.7% for Dow and 36.8% for S&P 500). Look for recent bounce to end with successful test of latest lows, followed by likely up move. (TG)
